The short version

The TIF and JPG files you convert on this site are processed entirely inside your own browser. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on our servers, and we have no access to them.

Your files

When you drop a file into the converter, it's read and processed locally using JavaScript running on your device. At no point does the file — or any data extracted from it — leave your browser or get sent over the network. Closing the tab or refreshing the page clears everything; nothing persists on our end because nothing was ever sent to us.

Local storage

We use your browser's local storage for one thing: remembering whether you've chosen light or dark mode. This stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

Fonts

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Loading a font makes a request to Google's servers, which — like any web request — includes your IP address and browser information. This is standard for most websites that use hosted web fonts; seeGoogle's privacy policyfor details on how they handle that data.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information for security and reliability purposes — such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. This is standard web server behavior and is not linked to any files you convert, since those never reach our servers in the first place.

No accounts, no tracking

There's no sign-up, no account, and we don't use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and revise the date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
